Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand
Wilsons Abel Tasman were looking for a way to retain their personalised individual skippers cruise commentary experience, but simultaneously free the skippers up to concentrate on guiding the vessel safely though the scenic but often tricky waters of the Abel Tasman National Park.
After discovering Kruse Global GPS technology, Wilsons Abel Tasman elected to record each of their two skippers personal cruise commentaries and then have the freedom to play the relevant skipper commentary over the vessel public address system to create the appearance the skipper was continuing to provide his personal commentary, all the while the skipper was actually concentrating on navigating the vessel.
By utilising the Kruse Global GPS technology, Wilsons Abel Tasman has achieved the goal of continuing to deliver a consistent yet personalised skipper commentary, as well as an enhanced level of safety board the vessel, by enabling the skippers to solely concentrate on the task of navigation.
