Skybus were looking for a technology that would automatically play arrival, departure and stop announcements in English, Mandarin and Spanish, for its Auckland Airporter Service.

The technology solution had to be bulletproof and work 24-hours a day, 7 days a week without fail to ensure passengers arriving or departing from Auckland Airport would always receive these essential announcements regardless of the time of day or night.

Having explored multiple technologies over the previous few years, Skybus were initially sceptical that a technology solution with the required reliability was available…until they experienced the Kruse Global GPS commentary technology. After a successful trial, Kruse was implemented in their fleet of 26 Auckland Airporter Service coaches.

The Kruse Global technology has continued to perform to Skybus’s stringent requirements all day, every day, since its initial implementation in 2017, without incident.

Testament to the quality of the Kruse technology solution is that Skybus has now installed the same Kruse Global solution in its Melbourne Airport Express Service, Avalon Airport Service, Hobart Airport Service and Auckland Airport Airside Service.
